When the baby arrives, “me time” is almost nonexistent. The baby takes priority over everything, even showering. Yoga and exercise might seem like a distance friendship that you once had. Moms, it does not have to be like that. Know that “me time” does not have to disappear when the baby arrives. Leaving the baby with a trusted adult can give you an hour to attend a yoga class. Knowing that your life is chaotic already, working in some “me time” can give you that much needed break to recollect yourself. Most new moms tend to not leave the house. We don’t know why but it happens to many of us. It could be the process of leaving the house is more than it’s worth to go somewhere. It could also be that we are afraid to take the baby out because they might get sick or hurt. So, if you are unsure about taking the baby out of the house, that’s okay. But it doesn’t mean that you don’t ever leave the house either. Finding a babysitter can help you get to a yoga class.
